Terms of Use
These Terms and Conditions (as they may be amended from time to time by Alkhatwa), form a binding agreement (referred to in this document as the "Agreement") between you and Alkhatwa. Your access to or use of the Alkhatwa Website or Services indicates your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. You are agreeing to use the Alkhatwa Website at your own risk.
Terminology
The following definitions apply to this Agreement:
Alkhatwa Materials includes any materials, methodologies, implementation plans or other intellectual property used during the provision of Services.
"Alkhatwa Website" or the "Website" refers to the website under Alkhatwa’s control, whether partial or otherwise, including Content, Text, Graphics, Design, Programming and Alkhatwa Materials (as applicable in context).
"Document" refers to any posting on the Website, whether job or CV.
"Employer" means a person or entity that is accessing the Website to post a job or utilizing the Services for any reason related to the purpose of seeking candidates for employment.
"Employer Materials" includes any emails, sample job postings, logos, trademarks, service marks, documents or other materials provided by Employer, if any, for use in connection with the Services.
"Job Seeker" means a User who is accessing the Website to search for a job or in any other capacity except as an Employer.
"Services" refers to any services provided by Alkhatwa or its agents.
"User" refers to any individual or entity that uses any aspect of the Website.
"You" or "you" means the person who (or the entity on behalf of whom you are acting) that is agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
Individuals
Alkhatwa hereby grants you a limited, terminable, non-exclusive right to access and use the Sites only for your personal use seeking employment opportunities for yourself. You agree that you are responsible for the content of any Document you post on the website and any consequences that may arise from it. Your use of the website is a privilege. Alkhatwa reserves the right to suspend or terminate that privilege at any time and for any reason, at its discretion.
Alkhatwa is within its right to block or delete your account if it is against or threatens Alkhatwa or Saudi Arabian cultural and Islamic values in any way.
Each registration is for a single user. You are responsible for everything your login details are used for.
You agree that all the information and registration details that you have provided to Alkhatwa is correct and legally valid. You affirm that you have not misled or attempted to mislead Alkhatwa in any way as to your true identity, experiences, career history or otherwise.
In case of a hacked account/stolen password; you must notify Alkhatwa immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. However, to retrieve your password, you need to provide proof of your ID Number, Qualification Degree and any Reference Letter if applicable.
A published CV is expected to contain the accurate CV of a living individual seeking employment on a full-time, part-time, or contractual basis on his or her own behalf.
Various privacy options allow you to hide your CV or parts of it from whom you wish. The only exceptions are your contact information, social networks and video (if provided). These will be shown to Employers who have paid for a Wasl package on Alkhatwa
Note that CVs that have not been updated in over 1 year will be automatically unpublished by the system. This is so that Employers can enjoy browsing CVs which are up-to-date.
If you choose not to publish your CV, it will remain unpublished, visible only to you.
Alkhatwa is under no obligation to monitor the Documents posted on the Website, but it may monitor Documents at random. Documents found to violate the Terms and Conditions may be removed at Alkhatwa’s sole discretion.
Companies
Alkhatwa hereby grants you a limited, terminable, non-exclusive right to access and use the Alkhatwa website only for seeking candidates for employment. This authorizes you to view and download a single copy of the material on the website solely for your personal use directly related to searching for and recruiting job prospects.
Alkhatwa reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access and use at any time if Alkhatwa determines that you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
The Employer warrants and covenants that any Materials provided by the Employer for use in connection with the Services will not be in violation of any laws or regulations; including, without limitation; copyright, trademark, obscenity, culturally insensitive, blasphemous and or defamatory of any kind. Legal action against the Employer can and be taken if found to be in violation of any laws, national or ethical.
The Employer must possess a valid commercial license in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Job postings for illegal work opportunities, adult-oriented or incomplete postings shall be removed without notice.
The Employer will not use (or scheme, encourage or help others to use) the Website for any purpose or in any manner that is prohibited by these Terms and Conditions or by applicable law. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Website complies with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This Website is intended for use by employers or recruiters seeking candidates for employment. You may use the Website only for lawful purposes within the context of what Alkhatwa intended the website to be used for. Alkhatwa is the sole interpreter of the Website’s intended and acceptable use.
You may not sell or transfer any of the services provided by Alkhatwa to any third party without the express written authorization of Alkhatwa. You agree that you are solely responsible for the content you post to the Website and any consequences arising from such posting.
Free Services:
When an Employer creates an account on Alkhatwa, he is provided with the following services free of charge:
- ‘Wasl free’ package which provides 2 CV credits for use within 6 months
- A ‘Detailed job post’ for 2 months. It is valid for use within 15 days.
- Access to a briefcase with unlimited folders
- Multiple company profiles
Purchased services comprise of either Detailed or Group ‘Job Posts’ and ‘Wasl Packages’.
- For an Employer to post a job, it is required that they complete and publish their company profiles. Anonymous posting is not allowed.
- All job posts must be posted within the purchased validity period of 3 months. If the jobs are not posted within this time, they will expire and be removed from the Employer account.
- If a posted job has expired, the Employer can renew it at any time within the next 6 months. If he does not do this, the job post will be removed from his account.
- Contact information of applicants applying to job posts will be visible to the Employer for up to 14 days after the job post has expired. After that, this information will no longer be visible to the Employer.
- Wasl Package CV credits are used to unlock contact information (phone/mobile/email/city), social networks and video (if provided). If any other information is not visible, it is because the individual has used his privacy privileges to hide it.
- Employers who purchased the Wasl service must use the CV credits to unlock CV contact details within the purchased period and save/download the CVs they need. After expiry of the service period, the credits will be cancelled and CV contacts unlocked previously will no longer be accessible through their account.
- If the Employer upgrades his Wasl package, the CV credits and time period of the new package are added to the CV credits and time period of their existing package.
Privacy Policy
When you register on the Alkhatwa Website, you will be asked to create an account and provide us with certain information. All User Information will be used in accordance with the terms of Alkhatwa’s Privacy Policy.
Alkhatwa reserves the right to comply, in its discretion, with legal requirements such as requests from law enforcement agencies or requests from government entities, even to the extent that such compliance may require disclosure of certain User Information.
Additionally, once you choose to delete your details or your CV from our Website, we will retain a copy of it on our database for 3 days, in case you change your mind and wish to reverse your decision. If no action is taken by the end of the grace period, your data will be deleted from our servers irreversibly.

Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alkhatwa (and its employees) from and against any third party claims, actions or demands (including, without limitation, costs, damages and reasonable legal and accounting fees) alleging or resulting from or in connection with your use of the Website, any Document posted by you, your use of the Services or your breach of this Agreement. Alkhatwa shall use reasonable efforts to provide to you, prompt notice of any such claim, suit, or proceeding and may assist you, at your expense, in defending any such claim, suit or proceeding.
No Endorsement by Alkhatwa
Nothing on the website shall be considered an endorsement with respect to any User or third party, whether in regards to its products, services, hiring, experience, employment or recruiting practices, or otherwise.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS
Alkhatwa makes no representations or guarantees regarding the truthfulness, accuracy, Legality, completeness, timeliness or reliability of any Documents posted by Users, or of any other form of communication engaged in by Users. Documents may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors.
You agree that any reliance on Documents posted by Users, or on any other form of communication with Users, will be at your own risk.
THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED ON AN 'AS IS' BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ALKHATWA, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTIES' RIGHTS FOR ANY PURPOSE. ALKHATWA MAKES NO WARRANTIES ABOUT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE WEBSITE.
